He’s at it again!
It has been reported in a French Daily Newspaper ‘Le Figaro’, that it is current Prime Minister Francois Filon’s ‘dream’ to lead the governing body of world motorsport.
The 54-year-old has not only lived in the Le Mans area all his life but actually competed in the Le Mans Legend historic sportscar race on the full 24-hour circuit, as well as numerous classic road rallies. He is also a member of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, which stages the event, and he is on the race’s organisation committee.
In June, Max Mosley will face a confidence vote of the FIA senate after the seriously damaging sex scandal and has already announced that he would not be contesting the forthcoming election.
