The Scuderia Toro Rosso team confirmed on Friday that Sebastien Bourdais will again be driving for them for the 2009 season.

One of the last great characters from Formula One, the former McLaren boss Teddy Mayer died on Sunday aged 73. Mayer had formed the McLaren racing team with New Zealand racer Bruce McLaren and took control when Bruce died in 1970.
