On what has been a wet week at the Barcelona track, the sun finally appeared for the third and final day of testing with Williams yet again leading the pack.
Kazuki Nakajima with a best lap of 1:22.153, topped the time sheets whilst his team-mate, Nico Rosberg in fifth place, was less than a tenth of a second behind.
Second place man was Heikki Kovalainen in the McLaren who had stopped on track during the testing session with mechanical problems.
In third place was the second McLaren with test driver Pedro de la Rosa followed by Felipe Massa in the Ferrari. There was less than a tenth of a second between the top five drivers on the testing session.
Mark Webber in the Red Bull Renault was in sixth place with team-mate David Coulthard in seventh and Luca Badoer the Ferrari test driver in eighth.
Ninth place man was that of Fernando Alonso in the Renault R28 fuelling the rumours of yesterday that the car is not in a position to win races yet and tenth place went to Timo Glock in the Toyota.
The Ferrari team are said to be returning to the track today whilst the rest of the teams are set to return on Monday for what will be final pre-season group test.
