Ron Dennis, Lewis Hamilton 2008 World Champion - McLaren
Ron Dennis has given a hint that he may be stepping-down from his role at the World Champion winning team, McLaren.
He told reporters in Sao Paulo;
“Nothing that will unfold over the next few months will be as a result of yesterday. I have still got several ambitions I want to fulfill, but you are most definitely going to see me at Grand Prix, it is something I like too much to take it out of my life. You will see me on the pit wall, I will be at races.
But I think over the next few months I will make it abundantly clear what I am doing and why I’m doing it, but it would have taken place no matter what. Don’t read too much into it”
Dennis apparently intends to focus on other matters within the McLaren Group, it was suggested, with the new McLaren sportscar project.
