F1 World Championship leader Jenson Button will compete in the London Triathlon on August 1st, with proceeds going to charity. The gruelling event features swimming, cycling and running and attracts around 11,000 competitors.
Button will be competing on behalf of the ‘Make a Wish Foundation‘ in the biggest triathlon in the world and he says ‘I thought it would be a good idea to raise money for a charity that is close to my heart.’
The event features a 1500km swim, 40km bike ride and a 10km run.
