Both McLaren drivers have been docked five places on the grid for blocking rival drivers in the qualifying session.
The McLaren Team were investigated after claims that they impeded Fernando Alonso and Nick Heidfeld towards the end of the session. The pair drove slowly back to the pits while other drivers were still on their fast laps. What is it with the McLaren team and their dirty tricks!
After several hours the stewards decided that the pair did indeed deserve to be punished. The team are apparently not going to appeal.
Kovalainen, who blocked Heidfeld and Alonso, will go back to eighth on the grid while his team mate Hamilton, who blocked Heidfeld will start in one place behind him in ninth.
Reminded me of this great little clip;
