It’s recently been reported that World Champion Formula One driver, Kimi Raikkonen wants to test a MotoGP bike. Unfortunately for the ‘Ice Man’, I think he’s lovely!, his Ferrari boss, Stefano Domenicali, says it will have to wait until the end of the season.
The Finn said “I never tried road racing. I have done motocross often and that is more normal for me. For sure I want to try the MotoGP bikes once, but we’ll see.”
Domenicali said “I would say that for sure he’s using his motocross bike as we know, because he like it, but I would say that he’s more concentrating on four wheels now up to November and then we will see.”
Former Ferrari World Champion, Michael Schumacher, has recently taken part in his first competitive motorcycle race in Italy and it was well publicised when Schumacher tested a MotoGP Ducati leading to much speculation that he would be a future MotoGP rider.
