Williams F1 - 2008

The Williams team have been testing at the Kemble airfield in Gloucestershire this week before going onto Barcelona next week to test publicly.

The car was being driven by 23-year-old Jonathan Kennard, the British Formula 3 driver, making his debut in the FW30, which was once again featuring the radical new rear wing and the new 2009 front wing.

The new aerodynamic package complies with the 2009 regulations aimed at improving overtaking opportunities.

The front wing is now lower and wider than the 2008 specifications while the rear wing is taller and narrower, reducing the overall downforce on the car.

It has been confimed today that the Williams team will continue their partnership with their sponsors Allianz for the 2009 season.

Allianz are one of the leading global service providers in insurance, banking and asset management and will now have been sponsors of the team for a decade.

For all of you who have always wanted to experience the thrill of driving a Williams, this could be just what you were looking for, the new Williams FW-4WD ride-on lawnmower.

It was launched at the Chelsea Flower show this year and is equipped with a 16hp twin cylinder engine, with 4WD capability for slopes of up to 30ยบ and has been developed by Countex in the latest team colours.
